I really enjoyed making baby food for my kids when they were young.  Now that P is 1 ½ and S is 6 they are beyond the baby food stages.  I have found that I can still make baby food and put it in reusable pouches for them to drink right down.  It is a great way to get all the vitamins and nutrition that fruits and vegetables have to offer.  I can disguise anything in a pouch and my kids will drink it.  They eat eggplant, squash, pumpkin, raspberry, strawberry, sour cherry, blueberry, black raspberry, golden raspberry, zucchini, cucumber, cantaloupe and more.  Sometimes I will add plain or vanilla yogurt to give it more nutrition and sweetness.

I have started making big batches of mixed fruits and vegetables, filling reusable pouches having a week’s worth of pouches in the refrigerator.  I have not had any issues with cleaning the reusable pouches.  I rinse them out with soap and water to get them cleaned out and then put them in the dishwasher to give a final clean.  With these pouches the seal is on the top making it easier to fill.  The spout to drink out of the pouch is on the side which S had no problems with but through P for a loop until she figured it out.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
