Wild Wednesday

Wild Wednesday is about all the crazy or unbelievable things that have happened in the last week to me, in the news, pop culture, etc.

Since last Wednesday here is what has happened:

  • Derby is 11 years old. We got her haircut and she looks like a puppy again. B and I both agree that we completely forgot how cute she looks. She seems to have gotten that little spring in her step. Who knew all it took was a haircut to get back the Derby we once knew?
  • It seems that all four of us have caught the exact same cold. B started off with it, S went from one cold to this cold, and now P and I have it. What are the odds that we would all get the same cold at the same time?
  • P was crawling around on the floor in her diaper. When she got to the wood floor from the carpet she stopped because she couldn’t move anymore. Her stomach was preventing her from army crawling and she hasn’t figured out how to crawl on all four yet. Pretty fast she realized if she wanted to get her bath she was going to have to figure a way to move on the wood floor in her diaper. She kept getting up on all fours but was going nowhere. She started crawling like an inchworm. She figured it out and managed to move about two feet before she gave up.
  • S starts soccer practice on Saturday.
  • I couldn’t find my coin sorter to roll coins with S. At one point we had it in our computer room but it magically disappeared. I was bound and determined to find it so I bit the bullet and cleaned up the computer room. After it was all said and done, still no coin sorter. I had B come in and put a few things away for me that I couldn’t reach. I had him check the basket of batteries again because it was right there the last time I saw it. What do you know? They were hidden under the new batteries. I cleaned that whole computer room for nothing. S is excited to roll his coins.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
