Wild Wednesday is about all the crazy or unbelievable things that have happened in the last week to me, in the news, pop culture, etc.
Since last Wednesday here is what has happened:
- Better late than never, I am writing down everything P does to try to figure out her schedule. When S was a baby he made his own schedule and stuck to it. We never deviated from it because he had to have things the exact same way every day to function. I loved having the schedule. There was no guessing what he wanted and when. As long as we followed his schedule of sleeping, eating and playing at a certain time, life was golden. When we deviated from the schedule it was chaos. With P there is no schedule. When she is fussing or unhappy there is really no telling why. It is still a guessing game to try to figure out what is wrong. I am hoping if I write her schedule down I will begin to see a pattern. She is a very easy baby, just not predictable. Maybe that is the difference between girls and boys.
- P is so ready to start eating real food. She eats cereal once a day but she wants everything we eat. She will watch you take food from your plate, onto the fork and then in your mouth. When you open your mouth to put food in, she does the same. I was eating a granola bar yesterday for breakfast and she literally tried to grab the granola bar. I let her grab it to see what she would do and she took the granola bar, wrapper and all, and tried to stick it in her mouth. Of course, I didn’t let her but she is ready. Good thing we start veggies next week! It is going to be so much harder to not let her eat extras like we did with S. So far we have kept it the same but really am I going to be able to wait until she is 2 ½ to try a Tootsie roll? S has never had pop (soda), gum, or fast food to date, and I hope we can maintain that with him and P. I know crazy right? S is going to be 5 in a month and has never had pop or fast food! He doesn’t even know what McDonald’s is. He gets the idea you get toys from there (commercials) but doesn’t really understand how or why.
I think since these two bullets are so long I am going to end my Wild Wednesday with that!
