Wild Wednesday

Wild Wednesday is about all the crazy or unbelievable things that have happened in the last week to me, in the news, pop culture, etc.

Since last Wednesday here is what has happened:

  • I got up early this morning to run to Target before S’s 8:30a, tee ball game. I had to get the 90% off summer clearance and I scored big time.
  • When we got home from tee ball I showed B what the folding chairs looked like that were 90% off. He liked them and said go ahead and get them. I told him I am not going back because P needs to sleep and if he wanted them he had to go buy them. You know what? He did! There were no tags on them so I had to help by looking them up from home, but we still got them for $2.50 each.
  • P has her two month check-up today and she still is sleeping about 20-22 hours a day. All she does is sleep or fuss. I love the sleeping aspect, but she is really spoiling me with all this sleeping. What am I going to do when she is awake for more time in the day?

  • B bribed S this morning with a donut if he agreed to go to storytime today. S happily agreed and when he got home from tee ball ate his donut. He then proceeded to tell B he is not going to storytime and only said he would so he could get the donut. What a little sneak!
  • Now all the neighbors can smell the skunk outside. It doesn’t matter what time of day it is the smell is in the air. No one has actually seen it so we have no idea where it is living. If can figure that out we can get rid of it.
  • S in now a little swimming fish in the pool. Yesterday we let him take off his life jacket in our pool (it is only 3 ft deep).   Much to our amazement S jumped in and swam across the pool. We had no idea he could swim on his own. I don’t think he is ready to do it in a deeper pool because he still has a hard time treading water, but he may be able to by the end of the summer.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
