Wild Wednesday is about all the crazy or unbelievable things that have happened in the last week to me, in the news, pop culture, etc.
Since last Wednesday here is what has happened:
- S has slept in his bed this past week and got another 5 stars. He was able to go to the store and pick something for his fish tank. He chose another plant. Now he tells us he wants to save his stars and get a volcano. We haven’t decided how many stars a volcano that blows bubbles will cost.
- Monday we drove up to Grand Rapids to check out all the ice that finally broke free. That ice in some parts was over two feet thick. We talked to a guy that has lived in Grand Rapids his whole life and said he has never seen anything like that before. I had to take some pictures because I am not sure we will ever see anything like this again.
- S has been crazy this week and yesterday to burn some energy we went outside to play. It was finally warm enough, and since it is supposed to rain today and tomorrow, so we took advantage of the weather. Since so much of the snow has finally started to melt I let S ride his truck through the grass so he could make a larger loop. When I told him he could go in the grass it was like I told him Santa was coming to visit tonight. He was so ecstatic that he just drove around with the biggest grin on his face.
- While S was outside driving his truck B dug out some of the snow to give S another path to drive through. S saw what he was doing and tried to go through the new path but got stuck. After the truck was unstuck he got out and said, “Dadda, let me show you how it is done!” He told us he had to go get his shovel first and came out trying to show B how the paths should have been shoveled through the snow.
- Today was Day 2 of PJ wearing the bark collar and I only heard it go off once. It has been so quiet around here and I am absolutely loving it. When S was driving his truck all over PJ never barked once. This is the complete opposite of the norm. PJ usually barks non-stop when S is driving his truck.
- I tried nail wraps for the first time last night. I think they turned out pretty well. I am curious to see how long they will last. The last time I painted my nails was probably a few years ago. I am thinking of trying the nail wraps on my toes!
- S and I painted some window sun catchers and had a ball. I cannot believe how much S loved painting these. I painted my bunny yellow to be different and every time I look at it I think it looks like a Care Bear.
