Wild Wednesday is about all the crazy or unbelievable things that have happened in the last week to me, in the news, pop culture, etc.
Since last Wednesday here is what has happened:
- S finally got all of his stars that he needed to get his fish tank in his room. It has taken him quite some time. We have been giving him stars since before Christmas. In order to get a star S had to sleep in his room all night and not wake up calling for me to come in there or come in my room. Finally, he got the 42 stars needed and we went and picked out a fish tank last night. I guess it is a lot more sophisticated than what I assumed. We have to fill the tank up, put these chemicals in the water, and let it go for 4-5 days before we can put any fish in it. S gets 3 fish and has to earn anymore fish or items for his tank by getting 5 stars. For every 5 stars S gets something for his fish tank.
- We are supposed to get more snow today. Ugh, 6-10 inches I can live without this snow. I don’t think we are going to go to storytime today at the library. It is going to start snowing around 6am and not stop until 1pm. I don’t want to have to try and dig us out at the library. I have not been feeling the best and that is definitely the last thing I need.
- Yesterday I was not feeling so hot, so we stayed inside until B got home. You would have thought S was wound up and let loose to run in the house. He ran around the house chasing PJ’s ball for over an hour. Eventually PJ quit chasing the ball and just lay down and watched S run. I gave up and lay down on the couch to watch him run around crazy.
- Our TV upstairs is finally dying on us. My brother gave us the TV and I think they got it when my niece was 1, so that would make the TV 14 years old. It is like one of the first HDTV’s. We did buy a TV to go in its replacement, but this TV is a beast that we have to now get out of the house. It is a 55” monster that is one of the free standing TV’s that is super deep. Now if only we could sell the entertainment center we bought to fit around the big TV 7 years ago. We can make it work with our new TV, but we were hoping to minimize the furniture in the living room and get a few more feet of space. Now that we have to accommodate baby and kid toys we could really use the room.
