Wild Wednesday is about all the crazy or unbelievable things that have happened in the last week to me, in the news, pop culture, etc.
Since last Wednesday here is what has happened:
- P and I made the twist cookies but they did not turn out as we planned. The cookies were not able to be made into a heart without breaking apart. I did turn a few into candy canes to see what they would look like for Christmas cookies. P made a lot of them and they ended up looking like poop emoji’s for Valentine’s Day. The cookies did not visually look appealing to me but tasted great.
- We tried a bark collar on Dinky today. She did not like the bark collar (of course, who would). After about an hour of wearing it and learning to stop barking we were able to take if off and it seemed to work. If she started we told her “No bark” and she stopped. I hope this has worked. It worked for Derby and PJ. If we put the collar on PJ now she does not make a peep.
- S has to make/take a box to school tomorrow for his Valentine’s Day party. Last year he used a large felt envelope with hearts. This year he wanted a box. I convinced him to use one of his Minecraft boxes. He loved the idea and we didn’t have to make a box. It was a win-win for both of us.
- I have rediscovered my love for graham crackers and canned frosting. I am particular about my frosting. It has to be Pillsbury, preferably vanilla but any flavor is okay. When I was little I loved to make frosting graham cracker sandwiches. Now I just dip the graham cracker right into the tub of frosting. S loves them, and P just loves to lick the frosting off the graham crackers or eat the graham crackers without frosting.
