Wild Wednesday is about all the crazy or unbelievable things that have happened in the last week to me, in the news, pop culture, etc.
Since last Wednesday here is what has happened:
- I got a great deal last night at Target. There was a glitch and if you bought one of the Lego poly bag sets for $3.49 you could get the Lego Christmas tree set for $6.99. It was supposed to be if you spend $35 you get the Lego Christmas tree for free. I ended up buying out my Target of all the Christmas trees we had for a friend who buys Lego packs for gifts for the Boy Scout troop she helps with. I love to find good deals and really had to refrain from not going to the other three Targets for her. I did end up getting the deal for S and P. They are each going to get their own Lego Christmas tree this year. P really wants it, but she doesn’t really know what it is.
- B woke me up this morning before he left for work at 4:30am to let me know our heater didn’t work. I was so out of it I just said okay no problem I will get out the space heater if we need it. By the time we got up at 7am it was 66° in the house. By 11am we were down to 63°. Let’s just say that I had on clothes and my fleece robe. I left P’s fleece jammies on her all day to keep her warm and we snuggled under a nice thick blanket. She never took nap I don’t know if it was because she was cold or just plain didn’t want to take a nap. B worked a regular shift at work and was able to come home and fix the furnace.
- Dinky is at it again. She refused to go to sleep in her kennel for B tonight, came back out in her pen in the living room with me and went right to sleep.
- We are almost out of Halloween candy and I could not be happier! Since we got rid of most of it there was not much for me to eat.
- I cannot believe how much P will get out her Little People Princess castle and pretend play with it and her My Little Ponies or Elsa. I mean S pretend played with his trains but it is such a difference between boys and girls. We really pushed her to like trains and cars like S but she has definitely pushed back to tell us she like girly stuff and babies.
- I love how much P plays with the PlayDoh. It is no joke she plays with it for at least 2 hours a day and some days as much as 6 hours (like today).
