Wild Wednesday is about all the crazy or unbelievable things that have happened in the last week to me, in the news, pop culture, etc.
Since last Wednesday here is what has happened:
- We have a new president. While I agree or don’t agree with what happened, it is now time to embrace what is our future and accept it.
- I am still battling this cold. I want to know when I am going to get my voice back? Maybe next week.
- B and I went shopping this morning to try to find coordinating outfits to match the kid’s outfits for pictures tomorrow. We decided to head out with P and were ready to spend hours if necessary. I bought S and P’s outfits last year so I knew what colors we had to look for black, soft white, and a burgundy-purple color. When we walked into the first store, Kohl’s, it looks like the burgundy-purple color is the choice color of this season. It was everywhere. We found a ton of shirts that B could wear, and I found a bunch of combinations I could choose from. B got his shirt and then I had to figure out if I wanted a matching shirt, pants, or dress. I ended up selecting the dress. I must be ahead of my time because when I got home I realized I already had two outfits that I purchased last spring with those colors.
- P did great shopping today. I cannot believe how she has turned it around. I actually feel like we can run out to stores now and she will sit in the cart or her stroller while I shop.
- I started watching The Crown today on Netflix and I really like it. It took me a few minutes to realize what was going on, but I am totally into it now.
