Wild Wednesday is about all the crazy or unbelievable things that have happened in the last week to me, in the news, pop culture, etc.
Since last Wednesday here is what has happened:
- I have been taking naps for the past few days and am still tired at night. You would think the naps would make me stay up later but they don’t. By 11pm I am already falling asleep on the couch. I can say I am getting up earlier than the kids do.
- I got part of the clothes for the kids Halloween costumes and cannot wait to finish them so we can get pictures. I am really ahead of the game on this!
- P has been waking up a few days a week in the morning and from her nap with a dry diaper. I know she is getting to the point of being potty trained. When I sit her on the potty after she gets up she never pees. I have no idea what is up with that. I have her sit on the potty for at least 5 minutes. On the mornings when her diaper is not dry it is usually so wet that she soaks her sheets. I know she has to go but she just can’t seem to do it. Once she realizes to pee when she sits on the toilet we will be good to go!
- I met up with the mom’s group I joined today for a playdate at the park and only one other mom showed up. At least I am trying to stick with it for P’s sake. It’s weird that I would be the one to show up and not skip it. In the other mom’s defense it was sprinkling.
- I got an indoor bug zapper to try. We have been using it for about a week now and are killing more fruit flies with vinegar and sugar then the bug zapper is getting with the lights!
- I watched AHS tonight on FX and still have no idea what exactly this season is going to be about.
- I was watching Big Brother tonight and for some reason my DVR cut off the last 10 minutes of the show! Right before we found out who got voted off. NOOOOO! I had to wait for about an hour before spoilers started showing up online.
