Wild Wednesday is about all the crazy or unbelievable things that have happened in the last week to me, in the news, pop culture, etc.
Since last Wednesday here is what has happened:
- We had some crazy weather today. I went outside to pick some tomatoes for my dinner and the tornado sirens started going off. Wait, it’s sunny outside. They were going off to let us know that there was severe weather on the way and to take cover in our basements now. I understanding being preventive but that was crazy. I waited for the dark clouds to come before I even said anything to S. No need to freak him out if not necessary. I love to watch thunderstorms and want my kids to be the same. So we watched the clouds that were circling around the house. I had never seen the clouds do that. I was ready to go to the basement if we needed to, but nothing ever came of the storm. Some of it missed it but most of it broke up before it even got to us. In the end we never went to the basement, the kids were in bed and asleep before the Tornado Warning had been lifted, and I missed Big Brother because the news was on the entire time.
This is when the tornado sirens went off.
This was as bad as it got (not bad at all, if you ask me).

- Dash is crazy. She loves being able to go outside but comes in every night to sleep in the house. She still comes and sits with me on the couch after the kids have gone to bed. I love our time together. She still will come when I call her name and lets me pick her up and carry her around.
- The Olympics are now over. I love watching them but am so happy to see my tv shows back on.
- P went to her Little Chef class at the library today. She had a blast and because all the kids were little she could run around like crazy and it was totally normal. I got some great ideas for stuff to do with her at home.
