Wild Wednesday |

Wild Wednesday is about all the crazy or unbelievable things that have happened in the last week to me, in the news, pop culture, etc.

Since last Wednesday here is what has happened:

P still has her runny nose. This has been going on for over two weeks now. I don’t think it is a cold because it is all clear coming out (I know too much information). I think it has to do with her getting her molars in. She also sounds rumbly in her chest, but when you actually pinpoint it; her throat is making all the noise. It’s like she has phlegm that she can’t break up enough to pass it one way or another. Oh how happy I will be when she can talk and tell me what is wrong.

P still refuses to walk behind any toys. I have made her a few times in the past week. She can do it, but totally freaks, cries, and crawls as fast as she can away from the toy. She would prefer to crawl, free stand and not move, or use your hands to help her walk.

S still does one heck of an amazing belly smacker. I had him doing them for my sister last night at my mom’s. He used to stand on the first step of the ladder of the pool to do them. Now he stands about a foot of the water before he does them so it is quite a fall.

I tried the new L’Oréal Ultimate Straight regime when washing my hair (Thanks Influenster!*). I have straight/limp hair and this really helped to keep it straight. Who knew? I am going to use it a few more days before I really make a judgment on how it works.

I used to use a Johnson & Johnson Daily Baby Lotion with SPF for S when he was a baby. They stopped making it, which I totally understand because the lotion would separate and it was a nightmare. I have been on the hunt ever since for another children’s daily lotion with SPF. They just don’t make any. I had to settle for an Aveeno lotion with only SPF 15. It is not made for children’s skin, but there were no crazy reactions when I used it on S or P. I was looking online to purchase more (conveniently Target no longer carries the Aveeno lotion with SPF) and came across a new lotion. Babyganics makes a daily lotion with SPF. I plan on making a run to Target today to see if they have any I can smell and check out before I buy it. It says my Target has it in stock so I guess we will see.
