The Vibration Bark Collar by Our K9 is like most other bark collars, but instead of shocking the dog it gives vibrations. The dog is given warning beeps and then the collar vibrates. There are eight levels of vibration that the collar will increase up to if the dog does not stop barking. The bark collar continually gives beep warning between each vibration to try to get the dog to stop. If the dog does not stop barking after level 8 the collar switches to auto correction which is a vibration that lasts for one minute. After 10 seconds of no barking the collar will restart down at level one.
I got PJ a bark collar a little over a year ago because it drives me nuts when she barks and wakes up P. She barks at anything that runs by, a squirrel, car, trash can, leaf and more. When she barks it is not just outside, but through the entire house on her way outside. Oh my gosh, if someone is at the front door there is basically nothing that can be done to get her to stop barking. Wearing a bark collar definitely slows her down. With this new collar I like how it will increase if she doesn’t stop but then will start all over again at the lowest level when she does finally calm down.
