Uncle NOH Foldable Bike Lock Review

Disclaimer:  I received this product for free or highly discounted in exchange for an honest review.  All thoughts and opinions expressed are mine.

I have used bike locks in the past.  The last time I remember using one was when I let S ride his bike to school.  Of course, I rode with him but I couldn’t bring the bike back home and he also wanted to ride it home.  I had to lock the bike to the bike rack and let me tell you it was tough.  I had to manipulate the bike and move the tire and body of the bike just so, so I could get the lock bar around the bike.  It sucked!  I know for some it may be easy to use a bike lock for me it wasn’t.  The lock was u-shaped and had no movement to it.  I knew if I was going to do this again, I would need a different kind of lock.

The Uncle NOH Foldable Bike Lock is something I have never seen before.  It collapses down small enough that it fits in my hand.  It is significantly heavy so I doubt someone is going to walk away with this lock and someone not notice.  The lock is a 4-number combination lock that you set the pin number before you lock it.  There are 9 different hinge points on the chain to make it able to adapt to any shape so it can connect a bike to a bike rack, telephone pole, street sign, etc.  When you are done with the lock it easily folds down and compacts for easy travel.  There is also a bracket included that the lock can be  attached to when you are riding your bike so you don’t have to worry about how you are going to carry or transport the lock around with you.
