I always wondered why people would need to use a power bank. Can’t they figure out how to use their computer gadgets in the allotted time given? I got my answer when I took P took a well visit at the pediatrician. There were two kids sitting in the waiting room playing on their phones, iPods or tablets. I really didn’t pay attention to much but I did notice that they were both hooked up to a portable power bank. Me being nosy like I am (all my neighbors will attest to that) I asked the kids what that was. They told me it was a battery back-up in case the device died. I asked them didn’t they charge it and they said yes but they had been in the waiting room forever waiting for their brother and parents to come back out. Yes, kids tend to talk to me even though I am sure they were taught not to talk to strangers. I like to think it is me, but really I think it was because I was holding P and she was being funny.
Now I get it, these are to give to your kids to keep them busy. Just kidding. I get that these are for use when you need to charge something and do not have a convenient outlet to do so. I have wanted one because I know I will be that person who is on my laptop, reading a book on my Nook, or trying to use my phone and they only have 2% life battery left.
With this being so small it will be easy to store in my purse, pockets of my laptop case, etc. I haven’t had to recharge my laptop completely, but have plugged my laptop in it to extend the life for me to finish what I needed. I have fully charged my phone, and my Nook. There is also a small LED flashlight built-in so you can use it in a pinch if you need too.
