Troubled Tuesday is basically my complaint day to complain about all the troubles I have, which could range from what is happening on TV shows to who knows what.
- I woke up this morning with the start of a cold. Ugh! I hate that feeling when you know you are getting a cold but it hasn’t fully started yet. Does that make sense?
- We were supposed to get a significant amount of snow on Sunday. When they first forecasted it we were going to get 3 inches and if the storm moved slightly north we would get 4+ inches. Throughout the week it kept changing to less and less. When Sunday came we only got a dusting. Totally disappointing. I wasn’t hoping for a snow day on Monday, I just wanted to take the kids sledding Sunday afternoon.
- Last Friday when I got the kids ready to take them to the dodgeball tournament our neighbor got home in time to go with us. The funny thing is we were in the car waiting for him (yes I had all five kids ready, snacks packed, and clean diapers on the kiddos) and his son, A, said, “We always have to wait for my dad.” I laughed and P said, “We wait for my dad, too!” Guess it isn’t just B isn’t the only guy that makes his family wait in the car for him. Do all dad’s do this? Why can us moms get the kids and ourselves ready and yet we still have to wait for the dads who only have to get themselves ready? I know, I know, B is going to say that is not true and sometimes he is helping with the kids but still we have to wait for him. if women can multitask with kids why can’t men?
- PJ has now started walking on the tiny carpet squares to go up and down the stairs. B initially cut them so Dinky would learn how to go up and down the inside stairs (she does the outdoors ones no problem). I guess PJ found it easier so she could go faster? If you leave anything on one of the small carpet squares the dogs will look at you and bark/talk until you move it so they can either go up or down the stairs. Even the pets in our family get catered too!
What is troubling you?
