Troubled Tuesday is basically my complaint day to complain about all the troubles I have, which could range from what is happening on TV shows to who knows what.
- We got a ton of snow this past weekend. The kids only got to enjoy it for one day and then it was way too cold to go out on Sunday or Monday. I was hoping they would get a few hours this afternoon before the rain started, but they didn’t. They still went outside for about an hour and played in the snow because most of it will be melted tomorrow.
- I keep seeing these amazing clearance toys on Instagram at Walmart (#walmartclearance). When I go or try to look them up to see if we have any, either my Walmart’s are completely sold out of the items or never carried them to begin with.
- Dash is being a naughty kitty and keeps taking any little pieces of toys that P leaves out. I am finding LOL shoes, Hatchimals, and more small parts all over the house. I know that I have caught her quite a few times so when I find random pieces best guess it is probably her. She is pretty active at night when everyone is sleeping.
- I went for a consultation today to get a new night appliance (mouthguard). From my sleep study they determined that I have a moderate case of sleep apnea and need to use a CPAP machine or get a night appliance. Since I already sleep with a mouth guard and have for 19 years, I figured that would be the easiest for me. I have TMJ and still clench really bad at night so they told me I didn’t qualify for the night appliance and would have to use the CPAP machine instead. The cost for the appliance was $1,800 after insurance cost and it came with no warranty. So if I cracked it while I was sleeping I would have to pay for a new appliance. That to me is just crazy. I have cracked or broken a ton of night guards and need assurance that they can fix it or replace it at no cost (at least for the first three months preferably a year). I was really hesitant to pay that cost anyways.
- The dentist also told me not to do Direct Smile Club. She said they have had quite a few patients come in complaining of their teeth being loose and end up spending more to fix them. I also got confirmation that my dental insurance does not cover Invisaligners of any brand because they are considered cosmetic. They only cover traditional braces. No thanks on that!
