Troubled Tuesdays is basically my complaint day to complain about all of the troubles I have, which could range from what is happening on TV shows to who knows what.
- I got pictures printed at Costco and the quality just sucks. I have always gotten my pictures printed there since S was born, and have always been happy with them. Just these past few times I have gotten pictures printed the quality has not been up to par. The manually correct the color, red eye, etc. When they correct the red-eye it usually ends up being a red spot on S’s cheek which turns to a dark blob. If I did not look at the pictures before we left I would have went home with crappy pictures. They reprinted them but the quality was still not up to par. What the picture looks like that I send them never comes back looking like that. The colors are always off and are a little grainy.
- I now have a bushel of apples in the fridge that I need to cook and freeze for S’s smoothies. This makes some great applesauce. I also use it in place of oil when I am baking. We don’t can the applesauce because I do not add anything to the apples. They are sweet enough just how they are. That is why I always get Jonagold’s. It takes a lot to peel them, cut them, cook them, puree them and then freeze them.
- I really wanted to go to the Tiger’s game tonight, but B is not up for it. He is not a sports fan, but I do not want to drive and park up in Detroit without him. Way too many people!!!! I also think it would be fun for S to go to his first Major League game when it is a playoff game.
- S really wants to eat grapes, but grapes do not agree with his stomach. We learned very early that grapes/raisins give S bad gas pains. F (S’s cousin) came over last week with grapes and when S saw the grapes he really wanted some. He had quite a few of F’s and then B bought him some at the store. Let me tell you he has been making some serious music in his sleep. I think it has been waking him up at night because he ends up in bed with me and then for the rest of the night I hear the music and it wakes me up. Gross I know, but totally true!
- I ordered the Honest Company sample packages last week when they had a deal and I got them for free without having to pay for shipping. Since I ordered them last Tuesday, I called to cancel yesterday so I was not past my 7 day cancellation period and they told me that my 7 days do not start until I received the sample kits. Okay I asked if I could still cancel and they said I have to wait until my 7 days start to cancel so I will need to call back when I receive the package. WTF?
- I asked B to turn the heat on yesterday. L I didn’t want to, but we went from warm too cold like that. What happen to in between? With highs only in the low 60’s and low’s in the 40’s it will never stay warm enough in the house to be comfortable. I sure did love those low gas bills in the summer. Bummer they had to end so soon.
