Troubled Tuesdays is basically my complaint day to complain about all of the troubles I have, which could range from what is happening on TV shows to who knows what.
- I have to get up early today (to watch Baby A) and it is my birthday. S did let me sleep in yesterday so that was nice.
- It sounds like Lamar Odom is really circling the drain. I just wonder if Khloe will stand by him or divorce him. Best luck to both of them.
- Fall has snuck up on me and I have not decorated yet. I did start yesterday and now just have to finish. Is it really worth it just to change it out in 20 days for Halloween? You know leaves for September and pumpkins for October.
- What am I going to do when Big Brother ends next week? I hope all of my regular shows start soon to replace it.
- I got my cable bill yesterday and it went up $7. WTF, they explained that it was because over half of internet usage is from Netflix, and YouTube. You would never believe how much I pay for cable. It is now $163 a month, which includes TV, internet and phone. I just wonder if it is worth canceling my cable and give up my DVR. If I went to no cable and relied on Hulu Plus and others I would have to figure out how to watch it on TV. B says if I want to do that I have to figure it out. Should I switch cable companies and try to get a better deal?
- We are not drinking our water. B works in the water treater out at the BP refinery and has said that the algae (bacteria) levels from Lake Erie are getting a little too high for comfort. There not at a critical level that the county/city would issue a warning, but they are above normal. So we are no longer drinking the water out of the faucet, which sucks for me because I drink one can of Coke in the morning and water the rest of the day. Carroll Township (which is not near us, but close enough) had a critical warning because the algae got into their water supply at hazardous levels and they could not drink the water, cook with it, brush their teeth with it or give it to their pets. They said boiling it did nothing for it and the toxins were still in the water. So yup when we cooked corn on the cob we had to use bottled water. B went to the store today to buy water and he bought like 20 gallons of water, tons of bottled water, and ice. Can’t use the ice, our ice maker makes. We don’t have to do this, but if B says we need to then there is some cause for concern.
- What the heck is up with the weather? It is supposed to be a high of 95° today and a high of 94° tomorrow. I thought we were in September, not August. I’m glad B did not close our pool yet. We talked about taking it down this past weekend and just decided to wait a little while longer. Since we are throwing out the pool this year we are not putting anymore chemicals in it and will use it, till we no longer can. I guessing maybe till this weekend.
What is troubling you?
