Troubled Tuesday

Troubled Tuesdays is basically my complaint day to complain about all the troubles I have, which could range from what is happening on TV shows to who knows what.

  • It looks like B’s union finally got the contract negotiations done and there will be a vote in a few days. If everything goes as planned B is going back to work as soon as Monday. We were told they thought it would be like four weeks after an agreement is made that they would return to work. Don’t get me wrong we are happy B is going back, but thought we would have more planning time. So much for getting anything done at home before B goes back to work.
  • I cannot figure out why some things sell on Facebook Online Garage Sales Groups and why other stuff doesn’t. I know one man’s trash is another man’s treasure, but some treasures seem a little crazy to me.
  • S had his first swim class yesterday. It was only going to be a high of 55°. I told S he was going to be cold at swim class. Thankfully we got a call saying they cancelled the class, but now it is rescheduled for Friday. I wasn’t planning on having to go to swim on Friday.
  • I have no idea why P will go to bed no problem at night but not for her naps. I give her a bottle at night, rock her for a few minutes, and put her to bed when she is still awake. During the day she won’t even think of sleeping in her bed unless she is completely asleep before I lie her down. I have to give her a bottle, rock her, bounce her on the exercise ball and shush her, and then rock her until she is out. When I lie her down she will sleep for a little while but then wants me to hold her for the rest of her nap. Why won’t she just lie down for her naps like she does at night? I have tried to let her cry it out for her naps, but she gets so worked up that she will pop blood vessels in her eyes. It’s creepy and scary when she does that.
  • I can’t get a picture to show you because she won’t let me so this is a picture I found online. P has two blue/black spots on her gums. When I touch the spot it is mushy. I was worried maybe it was an abscess or a rotten tooth, but after B googled it we figured out it was an eruption cyst. Yup, P has started to get her molars. We found her first on Saturday and then found the spots. Her molar that was popping through was bleeding when we found it.

  • I finally got P’s clothes transitioned from 6-9 months to 12 months. Now what am I going to do with all the 6-9 month clothes while I wait to sell them at a garage sale? The other issue is that the 12 month pants and long-sleeve shirts are still a little too big and P usually ends up crawling out of the pants.

What is troubling you?

I can never figure out why things sell. I think it is just luck of the post. I will post things and get no response. I may even run a sale for a weekend or something and then when I go back up to my normal price it will finally sell. It is so weird. There are so many groups here I usually post in multiple ones but it is all just so weird.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
