Thursday Treats is all about the best things I have had happen in the past week as far as good things, good foods, awesome finds at stores, great TV shows, etc.
I know this is a day late, but Wednesday night P did not agree with sleeping because I had a little ice cream during the day and we both paid for it in different ways. I never got the chance to do this post because I wasn’t able to get her to sleep by herself Wednesday night, and yesterday we were on the go. When I finally got a chance to sit down and write this after P went to sleep I decided to go to bed for the night myself. I don’t think I have gone to bed that early on purpose in a long time. The last time my head hit a pillow at 10pm on purpose was before I had P.
- I got a ton of sleep last night. P woke up her usual two times, but other than that I slept from 10pm-8am. To top it off I took a nap with P when she took her morning nap.
- We went to the new aquarium at the Toledo Zoo yesterday afternoon. It was raining out so it was the perfect time to go because no one would be there. We were right and wrong. There were quite a few people there but nothing like it could have been.
- I got to touch a sting ray and starfish at the aquarium for the first time ever. S refused to touch anything and we barely got him to touch the water the sting rays were in.
- We transitioned S over to a booster seat yesterday. He has been on that 40 lb mark for over a year. Some days he is 39lbs other days he is 43 lbs. We were never sure when to switch him over, but at this point P needs to move up in carseats so it made the decision easy for us.
- I got my list ready of DCPI’s (Target Sku’s) for the Target Easter clearance so I can keep track of how many each store has on hand, and at what percentage it currently is. I am so excited for next week and Easter clearance. I really want to get more chalk paint for S to use on the driveway.
- P is moving like crazy around her little activity table. She has even started to put her hands in the air and tries to stand on her own. She starts to wobble and grabs onto the table again. It is so much fun to watch.
- We found a new preschool basic show called Squeak! that has people in mice costumes which totally reminds me of Teletubbies. S was not impressed with the show and asked me if I could change the channel. Last night we turned on Netflix and watch a Teletubbies show. S said he was bored and wanted it off. The only thing P liked was the baby sun. I am so happy to not have to worry about my kids wanting to watch Teletubbies.
What good things have you been treated to you this week?
Although I do Thursday Treats, it is pretty similar to Jen at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom‘s Thursday Thoughts, so I am linking up with her today.
