Thursday Treats is all about the best things I have had happen in the past week as far as good things, good foods, awesome finds at stores, great TV shows, etc.
- Somehow Kohl’s messed up and when they sent out there new ad I got a 30% coupon. Woohoo, although I can’t use it. They also sent me 4 $5 off any purchase coupons. Oops…I think I was supposed to get one. Now I have $20 to spend at Kohl’s. I think I am going to get P a few new clearance outfits. With the coupon I had Tuesday I got an outfit that she can wear around Easter, and for her April pictures.
- P has managed to pull herself up to a standing position. She loves her activity table and after 20 minutes of trying she finally stood. She is doing so many new things in such a short time. She got her fifth tooth and took a bath in the tub without her baby bath this week. Granted she did sit in a laundry basket, but she had to sit on her own.
- P loves S’s Nighty-Night book. When I am reading a story to S at night P is moving all around his room. When I start the Nighty-Night book P will stop whatever and wherever she is so she can see the book. She turns into all smiles and loves this book. It is crazy how much she recognizes it. I hope she is a reader like S and me. Of course, S can’t read yet, but he recognizes some words and loves to be read to.
- We got up about two-thirds of all the Easter decorations. We need to make it outside and hang the eggs from the trees. I think we are going to wait until next week when it is going to be in the 40’s possible the 50’s to go outside and hang them.
- After school yesterday I had to run a few errands and then I took S on a little field trip. We drove up to Grand Rapids to see if the ice had broken free yet and if there were any ice dams. The ice is still there and going strong. We walked up to the dam and could see water running under the ice, but the ice looked to be over a foot thick.
What good things have you been treated to you this week?
Although I do Thursday Treats, it is pretty similar to Jen at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom‘s Thursday Thoughts, so I am linking up with her today.
Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
