Thursday Treats is all about the best things I have had happen in the past week as far as good things, good foods, awesome finds at stores, great TV shows, etc.
- Last night we went to my mom’s and got to spend some time with my niece. I love that she is getting older and turning into a young adult. It was so nice to sit there and talk to her. It didn’t hurt both that P was happy to be held by her and was super snuggly.
- S has been loving his new sandbox. I kid you not; S spends hours in it each day. He refused to go to storytime yesterday because he did not want to stop playing in his sandbox. B and I tried to get him to go to storytime, but he flat out would not go.
- My mom got me a new pig cookie jar. It is cute and will go great in my kitchen. I just wish I didn’t have to stick my hand in its rear to get a cookie out!
- I discovered a new topping for French toast and love it more than putting syrup on them. I put a little butter on them and then put powdered sugar. It totally tastes like a cross between a donut and breadsticks. I cannot get enough of them and I have now turned S onto them as well.
- MTV has a new show “Finding Carter” that premiered Tuesday. It was really good. It reminds me of a book I read when I was tween, “Face on a Milk Carton” by Carol B. Cooney.
What good things have you been treated to you this week?
Although I do Thursday Treats, it is pretty similar to Jen at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom‘s Thursday Thoughts, so I am linking up with her today.
