Thursday Treats |

Thursday Treats is all about the best things I have had happen in the past week as far as good things, good foods, awesome finds at stores, great TV shows, etc.

I got the cutest maternity dress from OldNavy.com, and cannot wait to wear it. It is super comfy and I love it. Now if only I could find a white sweater to go with it.
The baby was not cooperating yesterday and I was not feeling well. S was an awesome little trooper and was super good for me. At the end of the day I told him he was so good for me, and he asked if he could have a Cars Drifter as a reward. I was only too happy to give him one. His response, “I finally got Mater!”
We made the sugar cookies yesterday with the Mickey Mouse cookie cutters from the #DisneySideCelebration kit and they turned out great. It will be so much fun to decorate them on Friday. I also decided to make brownies (I really wanted some of the raw brownies) and will cut Mickey heads out of the brownies and I am thinking dip the bottom half of the heads in red chocolate candies (melted).

Even though I was not feeling well yesterday I somehow managed to get the dishwasher unloaded, loaded, and all the dishes hand washed that needed to be done. S was my great little helper and said I will dry the floor (apparently I was getting water on the floor from the cookie sheets when I was hand washing them and putting them on a towel to dry.
Today is Target day. I am really hoping to be able to convince S to go shopping. I’m not really looking for anything specific, but would like to check and see if the cupcake crayons went down to 70%. I think those would be fun gifts for S to give to his friends as party favors or for a holiday party at school. If I get them I am going to have to be on the lookout for individual cupcake boxes. They also had a toolbox painting/art kit that he would love.
