Thursday Treats

Thursday Treats is all about the best things I have had happen in the past week as far as good things, good foods, awesome finds at stores, great TV shows, etc.

  • S is having a great time helping me wrap presents.  He is the tape man and finger man.  He loves to put his finger on a knot so I can double knot it.  He is also very good at organizing the wrapped gifts into piles according to what house we will take them too.
  • B gave Derby a much needed bath last night and she smells great. I am sure it won’t last long but for now I am loving it.
  • I finished our gingerbread tree farm last night and love the way it looks.  Is it the prettiest thing ever?  No, but we enjoyed making it.
  • Last night we were reading bedtime stories and I happen to grab a Berenstein Bear book that had five stories in one.  I had no idea that they had another bear cub.  All of a sudden I see this Honey cub and I cannot figure out who it is.  It’s a new addition to the family.  I have loved these books, how did I never know this?  The book came out in 2000!

  • Today we are going to finish wrapping gifts for everyone, and then work on another candy treat for Christmas gifts.  S loves to use sprinkles so this will be right up his alley.  Pretzels dipped in caramel and chocolate.  They taste just like Twix bars.
  • Tonight we are headed out to Costco.  I love going right before Christmas because sometime they have great markdowns on Christmas items.  We have been able to get some great toys and led Christmas lights at dirt cheap prices in the past.

What good things have you been treated to you this week?

Although I do Thursday Treats, it is pretty similar to Jen at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom‘s Thursday Thoughts, so I am linking up with her today.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
