Thursday Treats is all about the best things I have had happen in the past week as far as good things, good foods, awesome finds at stores, great TV shows, etc.
- I am going to Target today all by myself. While B takes S to zoo school I am taking the time to walk around Target and see if I can find any deals!
- S has now slept in his bed three nights in a row all night long. That alone is the best treat I can ask for.
- I ordered black out curtains for S’s bedroom to try to help him sleep past 7am and in the summer go to bed when the sun is still up. If he could just get that extra hour of sleep in the morning he would be so much happier during the day. It is either a nap or more sleep. Since he won’t take a nap, more sleep it has to be.
- To try and get S to eat food out of his normal repertoire I created a check mark system. He gets one check mark for trying new food and two for eating his whole portion. Once he fills up the chart we are going to Chuckie Cheese. Today he tried mac n cheese from a box. He hates pasta and refuses to even try it. I was eating mac n cheese because it sounded good and he said he would try some with his dinner. Not only did he try it but he ate everything I gave him! He got two check marks. When I tried to get him to try my mashed potatoes he freaked out and refused. I guess the mac n cheese is a start. He will eat anything in a smoothie disguised but not the actual vegetable in original form. Hopefully this helps.
- My ipsy glam bag came yesterday. B just told me this morning so I haven’t had a chance to open it. I cannot wait to see what I got this month.
- I got all of the toys/gifts for people reorganized down in the basement. B built me new shelves for all of the stuff (there is a ton) and I had to organize it on the shelves so I could find the gifts when necessary. It looks so good organized and will make it a piece of cake when it comes time to wrap Christmas presents.
What good things have you been treated to you this week?
Although I do Thursday Treats, it is pretty similar to Jen at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom‘s Thursday Thoughts, so I am linking up with her today.
