Thursday Treats is all about the best things I have had happen in the past week as far as good things, good foods, awesome finds at stores, great TV shows, etc.
- Today is Halloween, which means Trick-or-Treating. S is so excited I just hope the weather holds out so that he can go at least once. We can go in the morning to the local businesses or the traditional evening trick-or-treating.
- I am not going to Target today. There is just too much stuff going on today and I do not want to be rushed. Although I am thinking I will want to go tomorrow I am going to hold off until Halloween goes 70%. There is nothing that I really need in the Halloween section so it is all about finding the good deals. I am curious if there will be any hidden treasures that are not Halloween items. I can’t wait to watch the blogs to see what people find.
- I am excited to start decorating tomorrow for Christmas. B says he is not ready yet, but I totally am and plan to start tomorrow.
- Survivor is ending up being really good this season. I wasn’t sure how it was going to be with each having a loved one on the show. This has been a great curve ball in the game and has made an exciting game.
- I am pretty sure that we are going to get our Christmas family pictures next week. I need to be on top of the game so I can make sure all of the Christmas cards are sent out the day before Thanksgiving. That has always been my tradition so people get them the day after Thanksgiving. The only year I did not do that was the year S was born because I wanted to get out his birth announcements with the Christmas cards to save on stamps and envelopes.
- I love that the zoo is repeating what they started last year with The Lights Before Christmas. If you have a membership to the zoo you can go as much as you want on weeknights, and only once on the weekend. I would much rather go during the week when it is less busy and to be able to go more than once is awesome. S loves going to see the lights as much as he likes going to see the animals during the day.

Our local zoo is doing Zoo Lights this year for the first time in ages. I am looking forward to it!
And I am going to try and stay out of Target too.
I had to try really hard to stay out of Target today because they cancelled our Halloween and rescheduled it for Sunday night.
