Thursday Treats

Thursday Treats is all about the best things I have had happen in the past week as far as good things, good foods, awesome finds at stores, great TV shows, etc.

• Yesterday was S’s last day of storytime for this session and he did great.  He was so excited to go and even though it doesn’t start until 10am at 9am he was ready to leave and go to the library.  It only takes 5 minutes to get there, so I had to try and hold off S a little.
• My hand surgeon’s office called back and they are going to try and get me in to do the surgery in the next few weeks.  So just shy of a year since I had my last hand surgery.  The only way they can do it is if the doctor will do it on a Friday.  I wanted to say he did my last one on a Friday.  Now it is a wait and see game.
• When we were at the library yesterday I happen to spot a book by Sue Grafton: W is for Wasted that I have been on the waiting list for.  According to my account on the library website I am 104 on the list.  WTF it was sitting there on the shelf.  I am so glad that I happen to spot it on the shelf.

• Today is Target day.  I want to go, but am not sure if I am going to make the trip.   There really isn’t anything that I have been watching and want to see if it went cheaper.  I may just check the blogs to see what they found.
• There was a new Toy Story on TV last night Toy Story of TERROR!  S was so excited to watch it and could not take his eyes off the TV.

• I forgot to get the mail yesterday so it will be like getting twice as much mail.  Love it!
• Great job Tigers last night.  It is about time.
