Thursday Treats

Thursday Treats is about all of the best things I have had happened in the past week as far as good things, good foods, awesome finds at stores, great TV shows, etc.

• Yesterday we took S to get his Halloween pictures at JCPenney’s.  I made sure I found all the tools, a tool bag, tool belt and tool box for his pictures.  I want to tell you that the pictures turned out so good, and S was great at taking the pictures.  That’s what I want to tell you, sadly he fell asleep on the way there and refused to get his pictures taken.  So we will be going back Monday.  I see a new trend happening with activities we do.  Take 1 didn’t work, maybe Take 2 will, because there will be no Take 3.
• S went to his first preschool storytime at the library yesterday and loved it.  Usually, at the end of the class I will go in to make sure he does not need help finishing his craft.  Before S went into class he told me don’t come in to the class at the end, I will come out when it is done.  He is getting so big and independent.
• When B was cutting all the raspberry bushes (SherrillTree) out last week he also cut out the green bean vines.  I don’t eat green beans, but have picked just over a bushel of them.  I am burnt out on picking green beans.  S and I have become picking masters this summer.  Seeing as how B only spent $.99 for green bean seeds and we got so many beans, it was well worth it.  I am just glad it is over.
• I finally bought the picture frames so we can frame a few pictures for S’s toy room.  Now my only issue is to get them framed and have B hang them up.  That is the hard part.  We got family (my whole side) pictures done 3 years ago and B only got it hung up a few months ago.  We got family (B’s whole side) pictures done the same summer 3 years ago and the picture has yet to be framed and hung.  Wait we bought frames to hang all of our Muppet posters and pictures in our then bedroom now computer room when S was 1 and the frames are still empty in the basement collecting dust.  Seeing a pattern?
• Today is Target day!  B picked up some extra work today so I doubt I am going to try and go with Baby A and S, so I may have to make a late night run.  Don’t sell everything before I get there!
• I got my fall decorating done. Yeah!!  Halloween, get ready your next!
