Thursday Treats is all about the best things I have had happen in the past week as far as good things, good foods, awesome finds at stores, great TV shows, etc.
- I got to do my favorite thing today and went to all four Targets in the area. I was hoping that the big summer toy clearance had happened today, but Target is being a little weird it comes to marking down. I did find a few things for S for Christmas, but I really enjoyed my time walking around by myself. I needed the few hours.
- I let the kids pack a backpack for the car ride and to have toys to play with in the hotel room. They were both so excited to be able to pick out what was going to go in there bags. Of course, P wanted to take everything she owns, and S wanted to take toys that make lots of noise. I said no to both. P got to pick a few toys and S had to take quiet toys. I hope this makes for smooth car rides down without them arguing.
- Dash will come and sleep with me every night. I love that the cat snuggles with me. I only wish she wouldn’t wake me up multiple times to pet her.
- Dinky is getting so good at being around the house and not having accidents. I love when I come into the living room and find her asleep on the couch. She is not getting into mischievous, she’s not eating toys, and she’s not having accidents. We are half way through the puppy stage. Hopefully soon we can teach her to climb the inside stairs and not just the outside stairs.
- B brought toads home that he caught at work. The kids love them. We started with 4 last Friday and now we are up to 21 toads. I was okay with 4, but 21 that is a little much.
