Thursday Treats is all about the best things I have had happen in the past week as far as good things, good foods, awesome finds at stores, great TV shows, etc.
- It looks like today is going to feel like spring. We are forecasted to make it into the 50s. If there wasn’t snow on the ground that is going to melt and make it a muddy, slushy mess I would be all about playing outside with the kiddos. No worries we are getting snow on Friday night!
- P went to her first story time yesterday and liked it. She wouldn’t go into the room without me. I told her I would come in the room with her but sit in the back while she sat with the kids on the floor. She did fine and danced with all the other kids. She even did yoga with them. When it came to coloring her art project she did not want to do that and was ready to go. She says she will go back next week, fingers crossed.
- We got pizza last night for dinner, per P’s request. We had planned on it because S was having a fundraiser for his school. The two of them usually share a pizza with me, no problem. There are 8 pieces in a medium. They each have 1 ½-2 and I have 3. Today they each had 2 ½ pieces and only slowed down because B made them eat more fruit instead of having more pizza. They were two hungry kids!
- We went to Meijer’s last night because I saw on Instagram that the Christmas was 90% off. I found a few items throughout the store mixed in with the regular items but didn’t get them because I didn’t know what I would do with them. I did find P and I matching Christmas jammies for next year, and Lego Friend bags part of the 90% clearance for only $.39 each. I was hoping to find more but I cannot figure out where they display the Lego poly bags. B and I just get lucky sometimes and find them on weird endcaps around toys. It’s not like Target where they are always at the checkout lanes.
- I found a cartoon on Netflix called Larva. It is a bunch of short stories in each episode. I didn’t know what it was exactly but watched it with the kids the first time. It is rather funny and gross. The kids think it is hysterical and P cannot get enough of it.
What good things have you been treated to you this week?
Although I do Thursday Treats, it is pretty similar to Jen at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom‘s Thursday Thoughts, so I am linking up with her today.
