Thursday Treats

Thursday Treats is all about the best things I have had happen in the past week as far as good things, good foods, awesome finds at stores, great TV shows, etc.

  • Although P had a major meltdown yesterday that resulted in another Elf Warning this morning she slept until 9:30am. Go figure it was a day I had to get up with S at 7:30am so I couldn’t sleep in but it was like she took a nap in the morning instead of the afternoon.  If that is how she wants to replace naps, I will take it.
  • We took S to Dave & Buster’s last night for his birthday. I won 500 tickets in the snow catching game which was a first for me.  We went over to tell B and watched him win 500 tickets in another game.  P tried her luck at the game she won 3,000 tickets last time and won 500 tickets this time on her first spin.  She had her pose down when I said let me take your picture.

  • Today I am planning on trying to decorate the Frozen castle with P instead of a gingerbread house and a gingerbread village with S when he gets home from school. S has always liked decorating gingerbread houses, trees, or trains so he will really get into it.  I think this year he will be old enough to do it on his own with little or no help.
  • I decorated the Christmas cookies with royal icing and finished them this morning. I have some left for the kids to decorate with regular frosting and sprinkles.
  • Survivor last night was so good. I am really rooting for Ben to win.  Luck is he probably won’t but it has happened two times before that the person I wanted to win did.

What good things have you been treated to you this week?

Although I do Thursday Treats, it is pretty similar to Jen at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom‘s Thursday Thoughts, so I am linking up with her today.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
