Thursday Treats

Thursday Treats is all about the best things I have had happen in the past week as far as good things, good foods, awesome finds at stores, great TV shows, etc.

  • We went to Chuck E Cheese last night for my niece’s birthday. S loves to go there so it was a win for him. P just kept looking at all the lights and sounds.

  • We made an Olaf cake for my niece for her birthday. I had no idea what I was going to make until yesterday afternoon. I think it turned out really well for an impromptu birthday party.

  • P is taking her naps in her crib now. Sometimes she is by herself and other times I am in her crib with her. Baby steps. I got her out of my bed, now I have to get her to take her whole nap by herself in her bed.
  • P is my little walking machine. I love it! Everyone says you want them to walk and then wish they didn’t walk. Not me, it is one more step to freedom. I would rather have a newborn forever or a baby who can walk. Carrying around 20+ lbs. in one arm is not what I call fun.

  • I got all the Instagram (SurvivingMomSteph) pictures verified for Tomoson.com. There were about 20-30 that I managed to do tonight. I also got 2 reviews done today along with verifying 6 more. I am making progress. Slowly but surely.

  • I have started getting all of P’s clothes washed and folded for her next size up in clothes. I love to have them ready to go when she moves up in size. I don’t want to feel unprepared when one day P wakes up and no longer fits in her clothes.
  • I have not had to take S to swim at all this week. While I have enjoyed taking him to swim, I also enjoy when P gets two naps. She is not even close to being ready to go down to one nap a day. We have had such a happy baby this week and I would love to keep it up.

What good things have you been treated to you this week?

Thursday Thoughts

Although I do Thursday Treats, it is pretty similar to Jen at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom‘s Thursday Thoughts, so I am linking up with her today.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
