Thursday Treats is all about the best things I have had happen in the past week as far as good things, good foods, awesome finds at stores, great TV shows, etc.

I did great today in the garage sale. I made about $400 today and it rained almost the entire time. Not just sprinkles but it down poured. We were only open from 8-1, but people kept coming so I ended up staying open till 2. If I still have a ton of stuff left after tomorrow I am thinking of doing a “Saturday Special” and doing the garage sale on Saturday. I hadn’t planned on it, but am still not sure.

P is doing great walking. She is taking more and more steps. Of course, crawling is her first choice by she is getting the hang of walking.

P’s fourth one-year molar finally came through last night. She is still going to get about 4-8 more teeth this year but at least the molars are done until she is two.
S is doing great at swim class. He loves it and is getting so much better at her little doggy paddle. He now can float in the water without the teacher having to hold him up. He doesn’t like to float and have his ears under the water but tolerates it.
We got almost two inches between last night and today. I cannot believe how much rain we have gotten this summer. So much for the river going down anytime soon. I wish we would get more thunder and lightning with the rain and not just rain. I don’t live in Seattle for a reason!
B and I ran to Target today. P came with us, but S went to hang out with his cousin at Grandma G’s. We were able to get S his big gift from Santa. He has been telling anyone who will listen that he is asking Santa for an electric Razor scooter. Well I saw online that Target was having a summer Black Friday sale on Wednesday and Thursday of this week (total oxymoron) and the Razor scooter was 51% off. It made it only $69. A steal of a deal and now Christmas is done for both of them. Totally done! I also got a new jogging stroller for P. We got a used one and I love it. Since we are going to have a stroller for at least another two years I decided to splurge on a new one and sell the used one in the garage sale tomorrow.
