Just as I think I have found the newest and latest baby products more and more keep coming out. Here are just a few that I have come across this week.
Infinity Nursing Scarf/Nursing Cover by Samay & Co.
Infinity Scarves are all the rage now. Why not incorporate this trend with breastfeeding? It is big enough to hold a newborn and after figuring out how to cover yourself you could use this as a breastfeeding cover. The material is thin which will help to not overheat the baby or you during those hot summer days. I love the chevron print but noticed there were some flaws in the printing of the material. The scarf works well for those who just want to wear the scarf as an infinity scarf. This would not be my first choice for a breastfeeding cover. I have breastfed two children and still do not see how I could use this and easily cover so others are not uncomfortable. I think it would be more of a problem trying to position this just right to cover myself than it is worth. Smart Bambino Stroller Organizer
I love stroller organizers and have one for each of my strollers. They give me more storage where I most need it on a stroller. I get two more cup/bottle holders, a compartment with a magnetic closure to hide valuables (money, keys, etc.), and three more mesh compartments that will hold my cell phone, snacks, toys and more. The stroller organizer easily connects to the stroller with Velcro straps making it adjustable to fit almost any stroller. Turtles Premium Pacifier Clip Bundle- 3-pack
I am obsessed with pacifier clips. Since P loves her binkies I am looking for the best way to keep those pacifiers clean and off the ground. The print on these clips is adorable. Two of the clips have owls. One of them is holiday/winter owls and the other is regular owls with big red eyes. The back sides are fun patterns. The third pacifier clip is cats. One side is cat’s heads with the word Meow inside each and the other is cute cartoonish cats.
The loop that goes on the pacifier is a white thread that is not elastic. I prefer elastic loops because they have a little more give in them. The clip is metal which is not my preference. I do not like the idea of my child chewing on metal if she gets a hold of it, and the metal teeth with plastic teeth inside left marks on the baby burp cloth I tried it on. I like the idea of the pacifier holder that was included to keep the pacifier clean when not in use. Baby Car Seat Cover with Window Flap System by Mama Dada Baby
With P I had two different carseat covers. For the warm months I had a gray and white chevron cover with a gray minky interior that attached to the handle with two Velcro straps and draped over the front and back of the infant carseat. It worked great to be able to peak in the sides of the cover and be able to check on P. I liked that I could flip open the front of the cover so I could easily see P and she could see me. In the winter months I would use a black carseat cover with a Sherpa interior that had an elastic bottom to surround the carseat. It had a flap that you could open and close with a zip to open the cover for easy access.
This Baby Car Seat Cover with Window Flap System is both of those covers in one. It is a gray and white chevron pattern on the outside with a gray minky interior. The Velcro straps hold the cover off the baby to give room to breathe and circulate air. The flap can be opened or closed securely by simply using snaps. The bottom of the cover can best be described similar to a shower cap. It fits snugly over the infant carseat to prevent wind, sun, rain, or snow from getting inside. This would have made my life so much easier when it came to switching back and forth between the covers I had. 7-piece Kids Dinnerware Set, 100% Organic, Eco-friendly, Bio-degradable Material
This set is everything you need to feed a toddler. There is a plate with dividers, spoon, fork, cup, bowl, soup spoon, and suction to hold the bowl or plate in place. I don’t know about most toddlers but both of mine are big throwers. When S was done with his food he would get rid of his plate and silverware as quick as possible. With P she is a thrower. When she is done eating she throws her plates, so look out. These seem to be indestructible when it comes to P. She loves using utensils so the fork and spoon were her first go to grab items. The plate was just a plate to her until I attached it to the suction cup and she couldn’t move it. She was not a happy camper until she realized that she could easily get all of her food off her plate without it moving all over the place. At this point, P is not ready to use a regular cup, so I haven’t gotten that out yet. The bowl works great for fruit, and pretty much anything else she eats. I haven’t tried the soup spoon yet because it is a little too big for her mouth. I cannot wait to try the rest of the set when P gets a little older. She loves using the bowl, plate, spoon and fork. I love that they are dishwasher safe so I don’t have to hand wash them, and I can stick them in the microwave to heat up the food. 5-piece Panda Bowl Kids Dinnerware Set, 100% Organic, Eco-friendly, Bio-degradable Material
I love this set. The set includes a bowl, lid, fork, spoon, and suction to hold the bowl. I don’t know how many times I make a meal for P and she doesn’t finish it. That is usually not the problem, it is having to transfer the food to another container with a lid. With this 5-piece set that is not a problem any longer. The bowl comes with a lid I can just put on and toss the leftovers in the fridge for the next day. P loves the spoon and fork and cannot get enough of them. I love the strong suction that came with the set to secure the bowl to the table. P loves it because she does not have to worry about the bowl moving around on her anymore when she is trying to get the last scrap of food out of it. I love that they are dishwasher safe so I don’t have to hand wash them, and I can stick them in the microwave to heat up the food.
