This Week’s New Baby Products

This week there is only one item to review.  A set of rattles that I came across and really liked.

Toymall 6-piece Baby Rattle Set

I have found through having two of my own kids and my 20+ years of babysitting that when it comes to rattles it is all about the weight, noise, and ease of grip.  Rattles need to be light-weight so that a baby can start to pick it up at just a few months old.  The more noise the rattles make the more interested a baby will be in it.  The rattles need to be skinny enough so tiny little hands can grasp onto them.  Although this set was not vibrant in color it did have the three things I look for in rattles.  I used my niece as my little model.  She is only 5 months old and had no issues with any of the six rattles.  They were all easily grasp, made noise, and were light-weight.  They were a hard plastic so there was nothing soft for her to chew or gnaw on but she still kept sticking them in her mouth.  The Toymall 6-piece Baby Rattle Set is $15.80 on Amazon.com.

I was chosen to review these baby products through Tomoson.com.  Basically how it works is you select items you would like to review and if they chose you, the product is purchased through Amazon.com.  If you have a Prime Account with Amazon shipping is free and a coupon code is provided from the company making the product free or highly discounted.  In exchange they are looking for an honest review on their product.
