Thursday morning I had every intention of getting up at like 8-8:30am and heading out to Target. Yeah that didn’t happen but we did get out of the house around 10am. Instead of going to my regular Target first I decided to hit the one on Alexis Rd. When I got there no one was shopping the toys so I was free to roam the aisles leisurely and get what I wanted. I was so happy to see that all of their clearance was marked and I didn’t have to wait for them to mark it down. I spent about $150 at this Target.

I found these at our Target and showed them to B. These are like Kinetics, Tinker Toys and Legos combined. The really cool thing about these are that they have Power Trains that work with them. I think S will really like them when he is a little older and B said he would happily help put them together. The Crane was $5.98 , and the Power Train Cars were $6.98 for each pack. I got 4 expander sets, because B always wants these for everything he builds S, and they were only $2.98 each.

I know Mega Bloks are not Legos and are not nearly the same, but come on they are Hot Wheels Monster Trucks. I got one for S, S’s cousin and S’s other cousin. They were only 50% off but at $9.98 I jumped at the chance. The Lego Hero Factory was only 50% off at $17.98, but still a great deal for Legos. This is also going to S’s cousin. I already got the Lego City for S, but found two not marked and got them for two of S’s cousins. They were still only 50% off at $9.98, and totally worth it for two cars.

I had bought the Imaginext CDA van when it was 50% off to complete S’s birthday present but today it was 70% off at $4.48. I bought it and returned the one I paid $7.48 for. I found a pack of Hot Wheels for $1.48. I thought S and B would really like them because of the rat rod. All five of these were only $1.48. I found the Take ‘n’ Play for only $3.58. I know we don’t have Stanley so I had to grab this. S got a huge Mega Blok Thomas train set for Christmas so adding a few more trains to the mix will only make it better. It doesn’t hurt either that Diesel was only $2.98. I found the two polos for $1.50 each.
Overall, I was really happy with this Target. Some of the toys did not go down that were at the other store the night before but that’s okay. I got everything I was looking for and then some. I had to stop at Target by me on the way home to see if there was anything left. At this point it was 11:30am and I figured everything would already be picked over at my store. Boy was I wrong!
