I was really curious to know if the Coast Guard Lego went down more at the Airport Hwy Target. After my surgery on Friday morning (the 16th) I convinced B to go to Target. I hadn’t gotten sick from the anesthesia which almost always happens so I felt okay to go. My hand was still numb so I was all about it. We managed to find quite a bit on this trip and spent $142. Check out everything we got!
- S needs a new helmet this year and with him now having a Crazy Cart and Razor scooter we wanted him to have more of a helmet than just the traditional bike helmet. S has an unusually large head for a five-year old (he takes after me) and most helmets for his age do not fit. We got a Planes for $5.98 and a spiked helmet for $9.98. They were different brands but for ages 5-8. We also found a green helmet for $9.98 and a black helmet for $7.48. He tried on the two fun helmets and both were to small for him. I can’t remember which one of the plain helmets ages 8+ fit him (I think it was the green) so we will keep either the green or black and return the other 3.
- The Legos were marked down to 50% off and they still had the Coast Guard boat! I was so excited. It was pretty expensive for me even at 50% off it was $39.98. I was not sure about keeping it but thought I will buy it and decide later. I got the Star Wars Lego for my nephew for his birthday for $24.98. I found out he already has it so I offered it to the boys and they totally want it. I got the small Chima Lion Lego for $4.98. I think this will be a great Christmas gift for one of the boys for next year.
- B got this Hexbug stuff for his mom to give to his nephew (that was a mouth full). He was supposed to call her and tell her but I am not sure if he ever did. In my defense, I was on painkillers recovering from surgery. So if he didn’t tell her, she is finding out now as she read this! The Battle Arena was only $11.98 and the Hexbugs were $2.38 each.
- We have been buying Power City Train stuff for a while now. Once S is no longer interested in Thomas trains I think we will get these out. This train engine was only $2.98. B found a light to put on S’s bike and it was $1.78.
- The Princess Klip-Klop set finally went 70% off clearance for $6.14 each. I got them to go with the big Klip-Klop set I bought last year at Meijer.
After this B took me home and I took a nice long nap to begin my recovery from surgery.
