I was hoping that Target would do their bi-annual toy markdown this week. I knew it would be this week or next week. I went on Wednesday night to see if my regular Target had premarked their toys to get ahead of the game. They totally did, sort of. Not all the toys went 70% like they have in the past. I would say about 2/3 of all the clearance toys went 70% but some of them stayed 50%, so maybe those will go down next week? I found a ton of stuff and ended up spending $163.30. I have no idea how the total got that high, but the prices were all right I double checked twice. Yes, that is my messy basement in the background. Everything went right down to the basement so S did not see anything and no my basement is not spotless.

I already got this Hot Wheels track, but this time it was only $5.98. I am returning this one I bought for $10. S loves it and has it on the wall to play with daily. I have been eyeing this semi with motorcycles on it and decided to get it for S’s cousin birthday (next December. Yup, I buy that far in advance.) for only $3.60.

S got a couple of the Planes airplanes for Christmas but did not get Dusty or a track for them, so this was perfect. I was able to snag it for $5.98. B says do not buy Mega Bloks only get Legos, but this was awesome. This is a Hot Wheels kit for a semi and car. How cool is that? It was $8.98.

S was asking for a Switch and Go Dinos the entire Christmas season. I did not get the huge one, but this little one I am okay with. It was only $3.88. S got a ton of Cars Micro Drifters for Christmas from Santa. I saw this truck and thought it was hilarious so I kept my eye on it and saw it was 70% off. It eats up the little cars and spits them into the back of the truck. It was only $4.48.

S always get the bowling pins and ball out every time we go to my moms. These are just plastic pins, and were only $3.60. I was happy they came with a carrying case. S loves his medical kit that he has and is always using it to take my blood pressure and giving the dogs shots. This is more medical supplies for him and he will now have a case to hold it all in. The vet kit was $5.40.

I found these kits and got three of them (I left some for others). I thought these would make great little birthday gifts for S to give to little friends or his cousins. The kits are by Melissa & Doug and only $2.08 each.

I was able to find two more storage cases for Legos. These are generic but work for Legos, I tried it on the first box I got. There were only $5.40 each. I wish I could have found more. They were marked at 50% ($9.00), but I scanned them and was happy to see them marked down to 70%.

I bought a Toy Story racing track set that only came with the Buzz character. I knew if we were going to race these we would need at least two of them. I was able to go overboard and get all the characters for S. I did pick up two extra Woody’s for the other two sets I got in the summer toy clearance. I did buy a 5-pack but will be returning it because I got it when it was 50% off. The 2-packs were only $1.78 and the single packs were $.88.

I got these Mega Bloks Barbie sets for S to give as gifts. I am not sure if this is going to go to his cousins or save for when he starts school. I know they are not the Legos Friends, but come on they are Barbie. The sets were only $2.98, and the extra doll with outfit was $1.46.

I found the hooded Barbie towel and this I am going to give it to my niece for her birthday. It was only $4.48. I got this Sofia Tea Party set for S’s future wife for her birthday. We always try to get her a little something for her birthday. It was only $3.88.

I called B’s cousin and asked her if she wanted these and of course she does. Her girls are going to love them and they were only $6.88 each.

I found this Barbie Mariposa house for again B’s cousins little one. It was only $14.98, which I thought was a great deal.

I found these in the storage area and love the idea of them. These are cloth on the outside and have a hinged back. I like the thought of using them for storage and at the same time being able to leave them out and they are part of decorations. These boxes were $8.98, so I have to decide if I am going to keep them or not.
If you take away the toys I bought for B’s cousin and the storage boxes I only spent $91.76 on the toy clearance. That is actually really good for all of the toys I was able to get and cross off a few birthday gifts along the way.
