I wasn’t going to compile a list of items I have seen around Target, but what the heck I am willing to share. I tend to just list everything that I can think of that I have seen in the stores, gotten, or seen pictured on other websites/blogs that I am interested in finding. Some will have pictures and other items will not. I am going to do my best.
Toys
- Paw Patrols Match Game-I found a ton of these in with the rest of the games. Apparently when they broke down the green displays they just put all the games back with the other games. I had to look behind the other Paw Patrols game but there were 8 that I found.
- Paw Patrols Figurines-I found the blue one and it rang up full price but it looks like there are some that were in the Christmas toys and some in the regular aisles. The only way you are going to be able to tell the difference is that they will have a different sku. They will be the exact same toy.
- Hexbugs-I found the Christmas Hexbugs mixed in with all the ornaments. They are inside a plastic case that looks like a clear bulb. When I say I found them I mean at my store (the one I go to weekly) I found one, and at another I found six. They were scattered about in different ornament tubs.
- Legos/Lego Friends-You are looking for the Chima (30264) with orange print on the front with an orange bird. The Lego Friends (30115) is a brunette girl driving a boat. It is rare that I ever find these back with the Christmas toys. I usually find them up at the check out aisles mixed in with the other Lego packs. This year was no exception, and yes you look silly going from register to register searching the Legos. It is totally worth it if you can find even one.
- Adventure time Cards-I saw these and they look like a baseball pack of cards for the Cartoon Network show Adventure time. I also found a few up at the front of the store with the baseball card display.
- Duncan Yo-yos-I am so looking for these. They are mixed in with the Christmas toys and back in the regular toys. These will make great little gifts for giftbags for S’s classroom.
- Barbies-These are full-size Barbie’s and many get mixed in with the regular Barbie’s. The only ones I have seen that are part of the hidden clearance are blonde Barbie’s in chevron dresses either pink, turquoise, or purple.
- Tonka trucks-I have only seen these in one picture of a find. The packaging has Christmas lights on it. They are individual trucks similar to Matchbox and Hotwheels. Your best bet to find these will be back in the toys.
- Hot Wheels 4-pack-I tend to find these mixed in with the 5-packs of Hotwheels in the toy section. They do say Holiday 4-pack on the front.
Stationary
- Baker’s Twine-There is red/white baker’s twine that is on clearance and would look so cute on gifts.
- Scotch Tape-Some of the tape that was in the Christmas section got mixed in the regular aisles. The only way to tell the difference is the sku on the back.
- Gift Bags/Tissue Paper-There are some bags in the regular section that are red and green. They seem to be part of the clearance. While they are not marked it is all about scanning to find those hidden gems.
Clothing
- Frozen items-Some of the Frozen shirts are part of the Christmas clearance and other’s are not. It is a game of scanning and luck.
- Boy’s hat-I found three hats that are part of the Christmas clearance. Olaf, Snoopy, and Minions. There is a Kristoff and Sven hat but it is not part of the clearance.
- T-shirts-Pretty much every department has holiday shirts. Quite often they will get mixed in with the graphic tees and missed. I have found a ton in the Toddler section in years past and just buy up in sizes for the following years.
- Pajamas-This year everyone has Christmas pajamas. Usually it is just kids & babies that have some. I can usually find some mixed in with the regular pajamas. Yesterday when I went the green two-piece Elf on the Shelf jammies in the toddler section were ringing up full price. When I went on 12/31 they were ringing up 70% off. You may want to check before you are surprised at the register.
Accessories
- Men’s boxers-The Christmas boxers tend to get mixed in with the regular boxers. I have seen racks of the Christmas themed boxers also. They have Santa, Snoopy, Elf, etc. and are on regular hangers.
- Women’s socks-At my regular Target I found them mixed in with the other print socks and at another Target they still had an entire endcap of them not even touched. These end up being great stocking stuffers or in our family we do a blind pick and trade game with them.
- Toddler Underwear-There are 3-pack boxes out there that are mixed in with the regular undies in the baby section. I also found some in the regular girls/boys section. You are looking for Minnie Mouse, Frozen, TMNT, Spiderman, etc.
Electronics/Movies/Books
- Elf on the Shelf Movie-This is the only movie I have every seen as part of the clearance. I have found them in the Christmas section and mixed in with the movies. It is just a cat and mouse game if you can find one.
- Christmas Books-Almost all the Christmas books are part of the clearance. I have found a few in the book section. The only problem I have is that I can never get them to scan when I price check them so it is a matter of taking them up to the register to check.
- iPhone covers-I found quite a few back in the Christmas section. I personally do not have an iPhone, but I plan on stocking my sister up with a few.
- Audio Cables-I needed one of these with a smaller adapter to fit inside my case for my phone and this worked. They had them in varying colors.
Thanks, All Things Target, Totally Target, The Clearance Whisperer and Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for the pictures.
Wow what a great haul. I haven’t been to target since the craziness of the holidays. This post tells me I should go. I hope your having a great 2015 so far.
