This week I took another trip to Target with B and S. While I was only planning on getting some diapers with the $20 off $100 purchase coupon and to get the price adjustment on the swing. I came away with a lot more than what I was planning and spent a whopping $191.58. I walked away with $20 in gift cards so I really only spent $171.58.

Target had a diaper sale if you bought two boxes of diapers you would get a $10 gift card. I also had a mobile text coupon like the paper one for $20 off $100. I had to buy three boxes to use the $20 coupon but it made more sense to buy four boxes and get another $10 gift card. I also had a $1.50 coupon for each box so that is an extra $6 off. Each box was $34.99. I basically saved $46 dollars so I got about a box and half for free. We needed diapers anyways and this was a really good deal. I literally have shopped prices at many stores to see who is the cheapest per diaper. Those little pennies add up fast when you have to buy so many diapers for a few years.

B found handles and knobs that he really liked for S’s new furniture. They were 70% off so I was okay with getting them. The handles were $8.68 each and we got three boxes. The knobs were $7.78 and we got two boxes. I am not sure what the other item is that B wanted. It came up as a tire gauge on the receipt and B said it would measure the air on his four-wheeler tires. The gauge was $6.38.

The scale finally went 70% off and was now only $9.88. Of course I bought it again because I would be saving myself $7. I found the pizza cutter for $1.48. We have broke two pizza cutters lately so this replaces one of them. B found the spoon rest and asked if we could replace my old pig ceramic one. I think it is about time since it has a few chips in it and because this was only $3.17 I was totally fine with it. I have broken my rolling-pin twice in the past few months that I got from Grandma so I needed a replacement. Since it went 70% off at $6.44 I decided to go ahead and get it.

I had no plans on getting band-aids, but S cut his finger on the pizza cutter so we needed band-aids. Each box was on clearance for only $1.77. I also bribed S with the promise of getting flavored Peeps if he would go to Target with B and me. I gave S the option of Orange Creamsicle or Strawberries ‘n Cream. He chose the orange so that is what we got. S found these wall decals for 50% off at $5.48. We are going to see about using them in the playroom for S. If we decide not to use them I will just return them.
A lot bigger shopping trip than what I had planned. I had to sit down on the bottom shelves a few times because it was too much walking for me. This baby is not happy with too much movement. We made it through Target in one piece and with a whole bunch of stuff. I happily checked a few more items off the baby prep-list.
