I had every intention to get out of the house at 8am. P had other plans and woke me up at 6:45am, so I fell back asleep with her in bed until about 8:15am. I was out the door and on my way to Target by 8:30am. I was able to get quite a bit and only spent $9.13. What was amazing is the Dollar Spot went 90% like all the Valentine’s Day merchandise. It used to happen all the time, then they stopped doing that and now it seems like they are doing it again.
- I got S two different options for Valentines for next year. He can do SpongeBob ($.25) or Snoopy ($.40). I got matching stickers for the Snoopy for $.40. I also found a box of individually packaged pretzels for only $1.49. These are great little snacks for S and P.
- I found Snoopy Erasers for $.10 each. I thought I got 30, but it looks like I got 31. These would be perfect with the Snoopy Valentines. I just need to find one more box of Snoopy Valentines (sadly I did not at any of the four stores).
- I got two huge pencils ($.10 each) for S and P for there Easter baskets. We love playing with bouncy balls at our house so I got four of them even though they were Star Wars. They were only $.30 each. I only found 3 of the Snoopy character figurines ($.49 each). They were mixed in with the regular Snoopy figurines in the toy aisle. The only way to tell the difference is these figurines were holding hearts. I also found one Nerf Rebelle ($.59) in the regular aisle.
The Mega Bloks Minion figurines that I saw yesterday were gone already this morning when I got there. I guess it wasn’t meant to be.
