I somehow convinced S to go shopping with me Saturday morning. He agreed to go to the other three Targets if we spent only 15 minutes in each store or 45 minutes in the first store. Well we spent about an hour in the first store and by far it was my best score. S was so excited with all the stuff he got to scan that he didn’t seem to mind being in there for so long. P just bounced in the front of the cart keeping herself busy. I managed to get all of this and only spent $29!
- There wasn’t really anything left in the summer section. It basically was back-to-school already. So I headed back to the patio furniture area and all the camping/grilling summer stuff had not even been touched yet. I got one of everything for us and one for B’s aunt. I got two pizza cutter boards for $.80 each. I got four sets of grilling tools for $1 each. These were really heavy duty and made of stainless steel so they won’t rust. I got three jalapeno pepper grilling rack. I got an extra one of these for a white elephant gift at Christmas time. The metal skewers were $.40 each and B wants to keep all three of them. The bamboo skewers were only $.20.
- We use pizza cutters for everything in our house so I got everyone they had on the peg. They were only $.40 each. I got two quesadilla maker baskets for $.80 each. This will be perfect for S if we ever go camping because he is a quesadilla kid. I found these pizza pans for $1 each. I don’t know if we will use it to make pizzas or what but I like the idea of them.
- So I was seeing these Bic lighters on everyone’s pictures of what they found at Targets and was on the hunt for them. I checked Brickseek.com Friday night and it said there were a ton of them on hand at this Target. B wasn’t specific on which style of lighter he wanted more so I got a little of both. I could have bought a ton of lighters, but how many do you really need? They had 21 packs on hand which would have been 42 lighters total. No way did we need that many so I got 8 packs and they were only $.69 each. I found two 3-packs of sunscreen for only $1.39 each. I don’t use this type of sunblock but B’s aunt will totally use them. S was excited when I found this water bottle for only $.49 because now P can have her own and S doesn’t have to share his anymore. We got S another pair of gardening gloves for only $1.18. I managed to find a tube mixed in with the regular summer stuff for only $.39.
- Yes, I found two more camping chairs for only $1.49 each. They were mixed in with the rest of the camping gear. Now we can get rid of our old camping chairs that are sad looking.
