Target 90% Summer Clearance Finds-Round 1

I ventured out early Wednesday morning to get the summer clearance at 90% off before S’s 8:30 am tee ball game.  I only had about 15 minutes to shop before I had to get to the game.  I did a quick in and out, but was able to get all of this for only $12.92.

  • I saw these wind-up toys when I was getting 70% summer clearance in the regular aisle.  I didn’t get them then, but got all of them when they went 90% off.  These will be great for P’s first birthday or to add-on to birthday presents for little ones.  I am also going to keep a few for S and P to play with when they take baths.  There were only $.29 each.   5-dolphins, 5-ducks, and 3-frogs.

  • I thought this sand utility belt was hilarious and S would have fun with it.  At 90% off it was only $.99.  I could not even imagine spending $9.99 for this.  The sand bucket was only $.19, and I got another mermaid towel for $1.49.

  • I was totally surprised to see this shark inflatable on the shelves.  I grabbed it because I knew S would love it.  It was only $.99.  I got the inflatable pool to take on vacation and it was $1.29.  I got 4-four packs of cups to replace some of our older plastic cups.  They were only $.39 for each pack so only $.10 per cup.  I found 2 shark plates that were $.19 each.  S liked the orange plate, but was not too keen on the pink plate.

  • I wasn’t sure about getting all this lemonade stand stuff because really I think lemonade stands are disappointments for kids more than anything.  I got them anyways because S really wanted them.  I thought they might work out great for a party if anything.  The cups were $.20, the lemonade sign $.50, lemonade garland $.30 and the tablecloth for $.30.  I would spend more than this on posterboard and plain cups if S was going to have a lemonade stand.  I couldn’t pass this up.

Not pictured in above purchase:  2 hula hoops for $.29 each and I could only find one noodle for $.20.  I did get them in the picture below with the two chairs B went back to get.

B’s find:  I showed B a picture of these beach chairs that someone else had purchased for only $2.50 each.  I told him we had two of these chairs at our Target but they did not have price tags on them and if he wanted to get them he would have to get them to find numbers.  He told me I could go get them, but told him if he wanted them he could go get them and he did!  I had to look up the chair on the internet while B was shopping so he could get the numbers.  After a little work B was able to get the two chairs and they are awesome.  I could not be happier with B’s finds.  The two chairs were only $5.  Awesome!!!!
