I checked at about 7:30am on Brickseek.com and it still showed that Halloween clearance was only 70% off. However, after P’s morning nap around noon I checked again and it was 90%. Of course, I had to scour the internet for hidden clearance finds. I saw two that I really wanted to look for, hoodies for P and a book box set called The Switch Witch. I was not able to find the book box set, but the hoodies were another story. I got all of this and only spent $10.86. I had to double-check my receipt twice before I typed this. This is from the Airport Hwy-Toledo Target.
- The polka dot hoodies were the find of the day. I got two of them which were $1.20 each, and one kitty hoodie for $1.20. I found two baby kitty sleeper costumes for $.99 each and the bib was $.39. The Olaf shirt was only $.90.
- S loves trains so the Ghost Train kit was a no brainer. It was only $1.79. I got two packs of bags for only $.40 each. I wanted to try the Hershey Candy Corn white chocolate bar and instead of buying a bag of minis I got just the one bar so I wouldn’t eat more. It was $.23. It was weird it didn’t taste like white chocolate or candy corn. I offered some to B and he passed. When I told him to try it, he did and before I knew it he took the other half of the bar! I have always wanted S to try the Halloween cereal. I thought he would like these the best Frankenberry. He said he did not want to try them because they were pink. I tried to explain that it was strawberry flavored, but he was having none of it. I think he will try it in the morning and for only $.75, we have nothing to lose. S was begging for a carving kit. I don’t know why, we have them and never use them. A knife and marker work so much better. It was only $.40.
