After we left the last Target I told the kids if they were good and made it through all four Targets I would take them to Mr. G’s for ice cream. A little background, Mr. G’s is an ice cream place by where we used to live before we ever had kids. The ice cream is 98% fat-free and the only place I have found that I can tolerate it without getting sick. They have pumpkin ice cream that is to die for and I love getting it this time of year. We got some on Thursday when we picked up football tickets so P already knew what it was and kept saying “Ice” the entire time we were in the store. Another bribe to keep P in the cart but it worked and she didn’t try to climb out!
I got all of this for $14.53 at the third Target (Monroe St.). This is the most I have spent at any of the stores but that is because I got a ton of fruit snacks and the food was only 70% off not 90% off like the other stuff.
- I got these organic fruit snacks for $1.49 a box. I would rather give these to P than other fruit snacks hoping these are as bad for her. If I can convince S to try them I will give him these and let B eat the other fruit snacks. With 8 boxes (15 pouches in each) these are going to last us for quite a while. We found pumpkin flavored pancake mix for $1.04. The kids love pancakes so B is going to make them this week. We went o check out the new Christmas decorations and I found a box of orange lights mixed in for only $1.20. S was excited to have another set of lights for outside. I also found a really nice cookie cutter for $.29 and some lipstick for my niece for $.69.
Not a bad little haul. It was super busy at this Target and there were a ton of people buying candy. I am so happy I went of the fruit snacks and not the candy. It was tempting but decided against it.
