Last year the Easter clearance at Target went 90% off on the Sunday after Easter. This year they decided to mix it up and the Easter clearance went 90% off on Saturday. S and I ventured out to the Target I normally go to around 11am. If I had known it went 90% for sure we would have been there at 8am. I just wanted to make sure so once we got up and around we went to Target. I think we had a pretty good score with everything we found. I was on the hunt for boys stuff for goody bags when S gets in school. I got a ton of stuff for girls during Christmas and Valentine’s Day clearance, so I bypassed all of the lip glosses, nail polish, and girl toys. If I had seen any Barbies or Lego Friends I would have picked them up but that is it. I was able to find quite a bit of Easter that was put back in the regular aisles. I got all of this for only $9.21. It showed my savings for this trip was $77.25.

These Minnie Mouse jewelry sets were in the regular aisle but I had seen them in the Easter area before Easter. They were only $.49 each. S really wanted a new rubber duck and picked the orange one. It ended up being $.19. S loves claw grabbers so we picked this up and it was only $.30.

I got one pack of ChapStick when it was 70% off and love the flavor. It is pomegranate punch but really smells and taste like fruit punch. There were a ton of them and I think these six packs will last me a few years. They ended up only costing $.39 per pack. No worries I left a ton for everyone else to get some, too.

I bought some of these Fllicker-copter toys last year and S loves them. I was able to find one and will save it for a gift. It was only $.39. The foam plane S did not want but it was only $.10 so I tossed one in the cart anyways. I was able to find 4 spin tops that were only $.30 each. They had a ton of them in the regular toy section but the cardboard top for hanging was square and these were egg-shaped. Target got on the ball this holiday and almost everything had egg-shaped cardboard backing. It made it easier to see the finds in the regular sections.

I really liked the prop kit and wanted one. I was only too happy to see it still there in the 90% clearance. It was only $.50. I found two of the cups with straws all the way around them mixed in the housewares section for $.39 each.

S loves gel clings and I promised him we would get more when they were 90% off and only $.20 a piece. I held back and only got a few of each. There were a ton of them left.
I could not believe what my total was when I walked out Target. I thought for sure that my cashier had forgotten to ring up some of the merchandise, but nope it was all on the receipt. I was ecstatic with my haul from this store and could not wait to hit up the other stores. I really refrained from going crazy, because there was so much girl stuff that I could have picked up.
