So I went a little crazy this year with the clearance shopping but the Target I frequent most did not pull all their clearance together (which is a first), so there was a ton of hidden clearance (this was Sunday). I also was able to find a few things that I bought at 70% and got it for 90% and then returned the 70% items. Doing that saved me about $15 (that’s what I got back in returns minus new buy costs). I spent $63.89 on all of this and saved $544.62. AMAZING!
- These interactive Rudolph and Bell’s were still on an endcap in toys. I had seen them there since 50% and they never moved. I got each one for only $3.49. I managed to check off two birthday presents and one Christmas present for next year already. I also got one for S and P.
- I got two “cafeteria” plates for S. I thought he would think it is fun to have a place for his silverware and cup on his plate. They were each $.34. Next year instead of just having paper ornaments we will also have foam ornaments that we make. Each kit makes 6 and were $.50 a piece.
- I found 7 sets of the Duplos Legos. They were $.34 each. I hope this is something that they continue to offer for each holiday. The two Paw Patrol matching games were $.49 a piece. They were mixed in with the Adventure Time games in the game section.
- I found these fashion emergency kits over in the accessories. They were $1.50 a piece. I am thinking these will be for my sisters next year for Christmas or for S’s teachers. I think this is something that would be really handy to keep in your desk if you are a teacher.
- I got 34 of these sippy cups. I wanted to be on the safe side because I am not sure how many kids will be in his class next year but these will make great little gifts for all the kids. I was thinking we could either add some candy or baked goods inside the cup. Each cup was only $.39. Of course, a few of the cups are for S to use just because they are fun!
- I found two flashlights which we be nice little add-ons for gifts. They were $.49 each. I got letters for S and P for their stockings for $.50 each. The yo-yos were my best find. B was amazed that I only paid $.29 for each one. I am always looking for gifts for boys treat bags and these will be perfect. Why are girls so much easier to find stuff for? I found the Charlie Brown book for $1.09. I had a Rudolph book but that wasn’t part of the clearance (go figure?). I got the pug socks for my niece for $.50, the phone covers for my sister for $.50 each, a reindeer binky for $.39, and the Snoopy hat for $.99. Somehow I didn’t get a picture of the Elf on the Shelf outfit that S found and wanted to give to Chippy next year. It is a pilot bomber jacket and goggles. He said since he always gives him stuff maybe we could get him something to keep him warm on his trips to the North Pole every night. It was only $.99 so I was all for it.
- I found a few t-shirts throughout the store and a pair of pj’s. The adult snoopy shirt was $1.29, the boy’s Mickey was $1.19 and the toddler Olaf was $.90. The Elf jammies were $1.49.
- I found an endcap of Scotch tape and thought maybe??? So I scanned one of each color and they were part of the 90% clearance. I only picked up 7 but left over 30. They were $.40 each. I also found one roll of tape in the regular section for $.18.
Thanks for posting. I really enjoyed seeing your Target 90% finds.
WOW you did gang busters. I went to 4 different stores and they had all pulled their stuff together but I did get some good deals. I got the PAW patrol game, Grinch shirts for all 3 of my guys for next year, the elf on a shelf reindeer, and some food which was only 70% but still good for candy. I bought so much paper and bags last year at 90% I didn’t need to get anymore this time but oh yay I did get some tissue since I use so much of that.
Not a problem. I have some other really great finds to share.
I’m glad you found the Paw Patrols game, because if you didn’t I was going to send you one.
