I never knew what one of these Y valves was before B installed one a few years ago. It is actually quite ingenious. Two different hoses hooked up to one connection is a great idea. Now we could water the garden or set up the sprinkler in the yard for S. By simply moving the levers it adjusts where the water is going. You can even set up both in the middle so the water can go both ways at the same time.
Now to have one of these on the other spigot in the front of the house is even better. This Y valve was very easy to install. The levers on this valve were very easy to move. On our other one I have to use pliers to move the levers. I did not notice any leaks with the connections which is a plus.
