Simply Earth Natural Home Air & Fabric Freshener Review

I love the smell of the Johnson & Johnson Lavendar wash and lotion.  I religiously would put this on S when he was a baby just so I could smell it when I put him to bed and had to get up in the middle of the night.  P was no different.  I used it from the time she was born hoping that it would have the calming effect on her as a newborn that lavender does.

The lavender scent has a calming and soothing effect and helps to aid in sleep.   When I found out this Natural Home Air & Fabric Freshener was Lavender and Vanilla scented I thought I hit a homerun in the smell category.  For sure I was going to spray this on PJ’s dog bed by B’s side of the bed.  I was hoping it would calm them both and help with sleep.  I also wanted to use a little in P’s room because she still struggles with sleep sometimes.

When I smelled this freshener it was a really strong lavender smell.  I was hoping it would smell more like the baby wash and lotion that I love.  It smelled like true lavender and was too strong for me.  When I let B smell it, he was totally against it.  It was way too strong for either of us.  In all fairness, I had to give it a try and see if the smell would fade and be pleasant for us.  The smell never really faded.  For someone that loves this smell it is perfect because the scent never faded.  For us it was just too strong and not something we would use again.
